Currently developing a commercial marine IOT data collection and analytics service called KVH Watch. Responsible for edge and cloud kubernetes cluster configuration, scaling and encryption of MQTT over satellite internet.
Helped develop a global multi-media streaming service KVH Link. I was responsible for developing a failure tolerant, secure media processor and software updater. This Golang program verified file authenticity, preformed decryption and post processing functions.

Aug 2017 - Dec 2018

Was an escalation point for high priority issues on both terrestrial and VSAT networks.
Developed a python service to orchestrate remote software upgrades of VSAT terminals.
Was responsible for deploying, maintaining and developing code for a global network traffic shaping system.

Aug 2016 - Dec 2017

Responsible for creating a new controls around accurate measurement of customers data usage over a global satellite network. I developed a python app to measure and compare network traffic at key locations across the network. The reports generated by this software were used to identify network issues and ensure accurate billing.

Mar 2015 - Aug 2015, Rhode Island

Thermal Solution Resources is a full service product design firm bringing IoT solutions to the LED, Solar and Electronics industries.

Developed, deployed and tested firmware (C progamming) for WiFi mesh controlled (Zigbee) LED lights.
Implemented automatic thermal throttling, protecting lights from exceeding thermal limits.
Implemented remote control of lights over Wifi (on/off and dimming).
